Four Tufts Computer Science students to compete in US finals of the Microsoft US Imagine Cup competition

Four Tufts Computer Science students were just awarded a trip to Seattle, WA to compete in the US finals of the Microsoft US Imagine Cup competition.

This is the second time in three years that a team from Tufts has made it to the Microsoft Imagine Cup US Finals, this time in the category of Software Design.

The students are Greg Wong, Yannru (Jason) Cheng, Wenshiang (Sean) Chung, and Xihan Zhang. Their team, "Team Eos/Medivise", developed a system called "Medivise" -- a cloud and mobile-based service that automates the process of monitoring patients undergoing Tuberculosis treatments.

This system can be expanded to deliver various other healthcare information to individuals, especially to the poor and to those in third-world countries. The product has been prototyped and a Windows Mobile app will be implemented for the US finals.

Here is the video of their product, required for submission.
