Guyer presents paper at SPLASH

Professor Sam Guyer and Ph.D. candidate Diogenes Nunez worked with Professor Emery Berger of UMass Amherst to develop a new programming language feature, called prioritized garbage collection, that will help to make software applications faster. They presented their work on November 3 at the Association of Computing Machinery's Systems, Programming, Languages and Applications: Software for Humanity (SPLASH) conference in Amsterdam.
