Computer Science faculty chosen for a Tufts Collaborates Seed Grant Program

The Tufts Collaborates Seed Grant Program has selected for funding three project proposals involving Computer Science faculty.  Prof. Soha Hassoun is the principal investigator of "Seeding a RIoT: A Tufts Center for Research on the Internet of Things (RIoT)". The project will host a seminar series in summer 2017 to foster collaboration among the IoT faculty at Tufts. The Tufts faculty involved include members of the School of Engineering, School of Medicine, and Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.

In addition, Prof. Fahad Dogar is the principal investigator of "EduNet: A Low Cost Communication Infrastructure to Improve Education in Developing Countries", collaborating with faculty from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. And Prof. Donna Slonim is a collaborator with faculty from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine on "Adolescent Opioids and Transgenerational Effects on Hypothalamic Transcription".
