Numerical Linear Algebra

Current research includes designing computationally efficient and numerically stable serial/parallel algorithms for the decomposition and/or compression of tensors (multiway arrays) and their application in areas such as image deblurring and facial recognition; the solution of large-scale sparse and/or otherwise structured linear systems of equations arising in various applications in engineering and inverse problems;  and algorithm design and analysis for linear and nonlinear regularized least squares problems arising in medical image reconstruction.
