Minor in Computer Science
The department of Computer Science offers a minor in computer science for students in both the College of Liberal Arts and the College of Engineering. Five courses are required :
- Computer Science 15
- Two courses chosen from Computer Science 40, 80, 160 and 170
- One course in computer science numbered 100 or above
- One course, either Mathematics 22 or one additional course in computer science numbered above 15
There are college-wide restrictions on the minor that students should find out about. (Consult the Tufts University Bulletin.) One of these is that no more than two courses used toward the minor can be used for any other requirement such as the foundation, distribution, or concentration requirement.
To ensure that you will be able to meet the requirements for the minor it
is recommended that you contact the program advisor, Anselm Blumer
(), by the end of your junior
year.
