The department offers graduate-level certificates in computer science and human-computer interaction. The certificates are offered on a part-time, non-degree basis for students seeking professional training in these fields. In most cases, courses taken in a certificate program can be transferred into a graduate degree program.

Part-time Certificates and Programs in Computer Science

  • Certificate in Computer Science

This program is suitable for applicants who already hold an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or closely related field. It gives individuals an opportunity to sample from advanced topics in the field without committing to a full length degree program. For more information see: Certificate in Computer Science

Note that the certificates are offered on a part-time, non-degree basis for students seeking professional training. In most cases, courses taken in a certificate program can be transferred into a graduate degree program.

  • Certificate in Human-Computer Interaction

This is an inter-disciplinary program supported by several departments.
