Ongoing Search for Part-time Lecturers
The Department of Computer Science at Tufts University has an ongoing search for qualified part-time lecturers. We invite applications from individuals who are capable and interested in teaching one or more courses either currently offered by CS, or new courses that the applicant thinks CS might wish to offer. This includes local industry experts who are interested in teaching advanced evening classes in cutting-edge new areas.
Tufts University is a Research I class institution that happens to be the smallest such institution, giving it unique character. With about 5,000 undergraduates, 3,000 graduate students, and a world-wide reputation for its undergraduate education and several of its graduate programs, Tufts offers a unique opportunity for academic professionals interested in combining world-class research with close connections to outstanding undergraduate, Masters, and Ph.D. students. Located just a few miles or a short 'T' ride from Boston and Cambridge, the CS Department offers B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science. For more information about the Department or other Tufts positions available, please visit http://www.cs.tufts.edu/.
Applicants should submit a resume, a letter of intent, a teaching statement and three letters of reference online at http://AcademicJobsOnline.org. The teaching statement should include a short list of courses (either currently offered courses or proposed new courses) that the applicant would prefer to teach, plus a possibly longer list of courses that applicant would feel qualified to teach.
