Abstract

Bio:

Archita is a Ph.D. student in the Computer Science department at Brown University. She works in the area of applied cryptography with Seny Kamara. Prior to this, she worked with Maurice Herlihy on concurrent algorithms. Her current research addresses problems at the intersection of distributed systems and applied cryptography. With the growth of the internet and the explosion of data, distributed systems are becoming widely used but they often lack security and privacy guarantees. Her work addresses this using techniques from differential privacy, encrypted search, probability theory, and distributed algorithms.
