Bio:
Antonella Di Lillo is a Professor (OTS) in the Department of Computer Science at Brandeis University. Over the last 15 years, Professor Di Lillo has taught a variety of undergraduate and graduate core Computer Science courses to large numbers of students, including Advanced Programming Techniques, Data Structures and Algorithms, Theory of Computation, and Scientific Data Processing in Matlab. During this time, she has also worked with multiple national programs to facilitate the involvement of women in Computer Science, and has conducted outreach to local secondary schools to improve early exposure in the field. She received her PhD in Computer Science from Brandeis University in 2008. Her research focuses on Computer Vision, and her doctoral research involved a biologically inspired computational model for texture segmentation and classification.
