Web Site Creation and Management for Non-Technical People

Abstract

INFORUM Solutions, Inc. has developed a software system that allows individuals with no technical or web experience to easily create and manage dynamic websites for themselves and their organizations. The system enables individuals to include active content such as calendars, threaded discussion boards, project planning tools, and conference management in their websites. The system also includes access control features that enable website owners to restrict their visitors' access to certain information and/or functionality based on that visitor's need for that information or functionality. The discussion will provide an introduction to the web-builder concept from both an end user and a technical perspective.
