Abstract

Lead lanthanum zirconium titanate is a transparent crystalline material with high electro-optic coefficients. It can be deposited in thin film form on various substrates by metalo-organic chemical liquid deposition. I describe the deposition process and characteristics of the films as materials for photonic devices and real time holographic materials.
