Integrated Intelligence in Teams of Robots

Abstract

Robots are intelligent physical artifacts with a seamless integration of perception, cognition, and action. In such ``integrated intelligence,'' acting and processing of sensory information are strongly tied with the underlying cognitive task. My presentation will be focused on teams of robots addressing non-stationary domains, where robots need to jointly assess the state of their environment,communicate with each other, make decisions, execute actions towards the achievement of team objectives, and learn from feedback based on the outcome of their actions.
