Martin Wattenberg and Fernanda Viégas from IBM Cambridge are two of the creators of Many Eyes ( http://many-eyes.com ), an online community for visualizing data and exchanging ideas. As they describe it:

"Many Eyes is a bet on the power of human visual intelligence to find patterns. Our goal is to democratize visualization and to enable a new social kind of data analysis."

In this lecture, they will discuss their previous and current work in information visualization, including Many Eyes. Martin and Fernanda have worked on a large number of critically-acclaimed visualization projects, and both are insightful and entertaining speakers.
