COMP 10-01 Introduction to Programming for Business

This introductory computer science course will provide you with a solid level of computer literacy, which is increasingly expected in professional settings across all disciplines. This course will focus on computer-assisted problem solving, program design for business information and decision-support. You will study the most important business data processing principles in the context of applications programming using visual basic. You will learn to use VB to create spreadsheet macros as well as stand-alone database-backed applications.

Prerequisite: No prior computer experience is necessary, only a desire to learn.
