Based on your specification, prepare an analysis of the command sequence needed to carry out each of several tasks, including the keystroke count of user actions for each of the tasks.
Count these categories of actions:
button press or keyboard key press
hand movement across device or screen
hand movements between screen and other parts of the device.
For this section, conceptually treat your implementation of a keyboard (or whatever you use to allow the user to type) as one giant button. That is, you do not have to worry about the difference between the user entering an 'a' vs. the user entering an 's'.
What conclusions can you draw about the design of the user interface of this system from this "paper" analysis, before you implement it?
For your tasks, you can use small subsets of the scenarios you described in Assignment 2. Analyze at least four combinations. List out the sequence of actions the user has to do for each, to accompany the counts.
