Statistical methods in bioinformatics and biomedicine, including the heterogeneous high-dimensional data that tends to arise in this context. Assessment of hypotheses and data quality, visualization, and identification of patterns, outliers, and artifacts of bioinformatics data. Probability estimation through simulation. Presentation of statistical results to specific audiences.
