Jeanne Ferrante was Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Tufts from 1974-78. Her PhD dissertation at MIT was on "Some upper and lower bounds on decision procedures in logic". After leaving Tufts in 1978 she had a distinguished career at IBM and UCSD.
