From the 1970-71 Bulletin:
Lectures, readings, and projects provide an introduction to the digital computer, its structure, method of
operation and applications. Emphasis is on principles and procedures rather than on the details of any
particular system. Topics include historical developments, number systems, elementary digital logic,
structure and organization of the computer, operation of the basic functional components, programming
languages and principles, applications and implications.
