The Art of Computer Programming is a series of books about programming and analyzing algorithms written by Donald E. Knuth. It was expected to be a seven volume series, with volumes 1, 2, and 3 published in 1968, 1969, and 1972 respectively, but volume 4 was not published in hardback until 2011.
